Special: How work and play changed in 2020
The way we work and play has changed significantly during 2020, no one could have predicted the challenges that would be encountered or how they would be solved. Our research has revealed that although many of the issues have been patched, the search for long-term solutions is on-going.
Many businesses are struggling to enable collaboration between workers at home and the solution may come from how we solve socializing digitally in our personal lives. As users we are drawn to services with intuitive experiences and the long-term success of remote working may rely on business adopting tools that provide this.
In this report we share trends that reveal how we have adapted to living and working from home. Our findings show that to collaborate and socialize remotely we need digital tools that are intuitive and natural to use.

In this month’s cloud security report, we dive into app permission categories and the types of applications that are most likely to pose a risk to corporate cloud applications. The Wandera Data Science team provides an analysis of the distribution of risk for applications containing the most prevalent intent filters.
We also look at third-party app stores, a number of new phishing domains identified and a roundup of September’s security news from all over the web.

The July Cloud Security Report focuses on productivity. While employees are working from home, productivity is an obvious concern for businesses; 82% of managers worry about the effect of virtual teams on productivity. Our data highlights some of the positive and negative effects of remote working.
Our Threat Research team also unearthed a number of phishing campaigns making use of high profile brands; these were identified and blocked for our customers.
