Last week, Wandera was awarded Mobile Security Solution of the Year at the virtual ceremony for the Computing Security Awards. And this wasn’t the first time — 2020 marks the fourth year Wandera has been voted the winner for this category, maintaining our position as an industry leader.

Wandera came out on top in the highly competitive Mobile Security category, with nominees including Zimperium, McAfee, MobileIron, Check Point and Lookout.

Our team has risen to the challenges this year, developing and advancing our technologies and adapting to the needs brought on by the new normal of remote work.

This year, Wandera released Private Access, a cloud-delivered service that provides secure remote access to business applications hosted in the data center and in the cloud. The solution is built around Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) principles.

According to Gartner’s Market Guide for Zero Trust Network Access, by 2023, 60% of enterprises will phase out most of their remote access virtual private networks (VPN) in favor of ZTNA solutions.

Wandera Private Access empowers secure remote work and offers a seamless and consistent user experience from any connected device (running iOS, Android, Windows 10, and Mac) to any application, wherever it is hosted.

Furthermore, Private Access provides workers the flexibility to work any time, anywhere, by securely connecting them to the applications they need for fast and seamless remote working.

Wandera Private Access is a cloud-based service that requires no on-premise equipment. The service edge dynamically scales to handle unlimited client connections, making it a modern alternative to traditional remote access tools such as VPN, VDI (virtual desktop infrastructure), or RDS (remote desktop software).

As we reach the end of 2020, we’re grateful for this opportunity to celebrate what we’ve accomplished this year. This is an exciting time for Wandera, and we look ahead with great anticipation for what’s next as we continue innovating to keep workforces connected and protected.
