Mobile security moves fast. In just the last few months, we’ve seen stories ranging from the already-infamous Pegasus iPhone breach to the slew of concerns around Android malware, Pokemon Go apps and even the New Zealand rugby team.

Just keeping up takes up a lot of attention, and the cat-and-mouse game played by security vendors requires a razor-sharp focus when building the technologies to keep enterprises safe from emerging mobile threats.
This, of course, means that at Wandera we have been very busy developing our products this year. We’ve released exciting new functionality like +WiFi to extend the net of protection that Wandera offers, or like usage anonymization to answer concerns around privacy.
With our heads down working on updates like these, it can be a nice feeling to occasionally look up and find we’ve been recognized by some of the most credible names in the industry.
And today we’re bursting with pride after last night’s news that Wandera was awarded Mobile Security Solution of the Year by the renowned publishers Computing Security.

Following in the footsteps of prestigious previous winners, such as Good Technology (Blackberry) and Palo Alto Networks, Wandera emerged successfully amidst a strong pack of nominees including Checkpoint, Certes and Zimperium.
Wandera’s close partners Airwatch and Microsoft were also among those shortlisted for the award.
We’re not the kind of company to dwell on these accolades for long – there’s plenty more work to be done. But it’s certainly good to take stock at moments like these, and appreciate how far we’ve come.
You can see a selection of the awards we’ve been recognized for in our awards gallery, a place we’ll hopefully continue to fill.
