The Mobile Security Solution of the Year award goes to…

They say lightning doesn’t strike twice, but we’ve done it again. Last night Wandera was awarded Mobile Security Solution of the Year by Computing Security for the second year running.

Wandera was also named Runner Up in the Anti Cybercrime category and shortlisted for Security Company of the Year at the event which hosted a raft of big names in the industry including Cisco, Malware Bytes and Mimecast.

We have been very busy developing our technology this year including our machine learning intelligence engine which has taken our mobile malware detection capabilities to a whole new level.

With our heads down working on updates like these, it’s nice to take these moments to rest on our laurels and celebrate the recognition we’re received from some of the most credible names in the industry.

This award follows a string of ingratiating market endorsements. Earlier this year we were included in Gartner’s Market Guide for Mobile Threat Defense Solutions for the second year running.

More recently we were named a Leader in IDC’s MarketScape report covering the Mobile Threat Management sector.

In the midst of Europe’s biggest IT security conference Infosecurity this year, we were also awarded Best Mobile Security Solution at the SC Awards organised by SC Media.

This came shortly after we’d successfully completed a series C investment round of $27.5m led by Silicon Valley-based Sapphire Ventures.

The annual awards, run by Computing Security Magazine, celebrate the technology vendors and service providers who are leading the way in the IT security sector.

While this award is greatly appreciated, winning these isn’t the main underlying reason for our motivation. We’ll be continuing to develop powerful and innovative ways to keep enterprises protected from mobile threats.
