Sales Engineer, UK

Role Summary

With EMEA being our biggest market, our customer base is growing on a daily basis and from this we have been recognized as one of the leaders in mobile threat. In result of this we have an exciting opportunity for a Sales Engineer based in our London Office just off Oxford Street.

You’ll work side by side with our sales team while making sure that our product management and engineering teams are kept abreast of product strengths and weaknesses. The position requires a unique blend of business process, listening, technical design, and communication skills.

Responsibilities & Skills
  • Represent Wandera across the UK & Ireland as Wandera’s technical expert
  • Work closely with enterprise customers to educate them on mobility and security, demonstrate our solution, and manage our technical engagements across pilots, evaluations and audits
  • Support our local partners with deep product expertise and ad-hoc training to enable them to be more self-sufficient
  • Liaise closely with the product organisation to capture local market intelligence, and have advanced visibility into our product roadmap
  • Keep abreast of the high level market trends in mobile security, including the fast evolving threat landscape

Java Developer

Role Summary

Wandera are looking to hire a Software Engineer / Java Developer to join our growing team of technologists to help build our Secure Mobile Gateway platform. You will be at the top of your game, focusing on High Performance core Java, underlying network topologies and protocols, and with a broad range of experience in all things cloud including big data and globally distributed systems. You will be a highly motivated, keen and pragmatic developer who is up for a challenge in this fast paced, demanding environment.

Responsibilities and Skills
  • High Performance core Java – proven development ability using Java in high performance, scalable systems.

Enterprise Sales Executive, Germany

Role Summary

We are looking for an experience Enterprise Sales person to accelerate our rapid growth and develop the business in the DACH regions. You will be responsible for prospecting to senior level IT decision makers to grow the pipeline, and completing sales cycles across other opportunities. We are looking for professionals who have momentum in their careers and significant years of experience in mobile security.

Responsibilities & Skills
  • Originate, nurture and close large enterprise deals.
  • Build deep product, market and competitive knowledge to effectively position Wandera.
  • Become your customers’ trusted advisor in order to foster future expansion opportunities and gather product feedback to improve our services.
  • Work closely with Deutsche Telekom to generate lead and close business.
  • Hit and exceed sales targets and personal goals through effective territory and account planning.

You & your experience
  • +10 years experience in selling enterprise software and working with channel partners, ideally in mobility or security

We are now building on our rapid growth across Europe and early success in Germany, growing our presence in both Munich and Frankfurt. You will be an integral member of the team, and support customers and partners with technical expertise drawing on your deep understanding of security and mobility.

Responsibilities
  • Develop modular, performant, and maintainable SPA utilizing REST API
  • Define frontend platform architecture
  • Co-operate with backend teams on feature design and delivery
  • Continuously improve quality of codebase through refactoring
  • Provide insight into current best practices for frontend web development and help to drive decisions around framework and tool choices
  • Monitor, identify, and squash performance bottlenecks
  • Perform code reviews
  • Help onboard and mentor junior engineers to advance their frontend knowledge and skillset
Experience and Skills
  • 5 years of experience developing frontend heavy web apps

QA Engineer

Role Summary

We have an exciting opportunity for a QA Engineer to join our engineering team. You will work as part of agile development team delivering values to our customer, testing and automating testing of features.

Responsibilities & Skills
  • Design, development and implementation of automated tests.

Threat Researcher

Role Summary

Our Threat Research team here at Wandera play a key role in helping to identify and prevent security breaches for our global customer base around the clock. The team you would step on to are responsible for the day-to-day monitoring of security incidents and incident investigations, therefore requiring a strong interest in information security including network security and mobile threats. Inn order to step into this team, you would ideally have a basic understanding of man-in-the-middle attacks, malware apps and the wider threat landscape.

The role of a Threat Researcher is to take ownership and responsibility of the daily incident monitoring and investigations system, analyzing real time security concerns for customers and conducting security research into the subsequent data coming through the Wandera platform. For this position, Python and SQL are essential requirements, with wider scripting or programming skills such as Bash ideal and MongoDB querying also a necessary requirement. Alongside these essential skills, the team are also utilizing Kali Linux and associated tools such as Burp which we would also require knowledge of.

A key part of what the Threat Research team focus on daily is the analysis of data and being able to decipher the diverse sources of information flowing through our platform on a day to day basis, meaning a keen eye for detail and proactive approach towards new problems being a major requirement to fulfil this role.

Our team are passionate about exploring data and discovering new patterns which enable us to service our customers and ensure their sensitive information remains safe and secure by using the Wandera platform. Evaluating and documenting our findings allows us to expand our already deep knowledge of the mobile security landscape and protect data for all of our current and future customers.
