USA

Junior Marketing Manager, San Francisco

Life at a scale-up technology company is frantic, fulfilling and fun. Well, that’s what we think anyway. Things move quickly and the pace of growth is rapid. We believe it’s the perfect sweet spot in terms of places to work – you get the resources and support of a big company, but retain the agility and ambition of a start-up. There’s all kinds of opportunities for both learning and progression, plus you get to participate in not just the creation of an innovative, expanding company but also of an entire industry.

If that sounds like the kind of place you think you’d thrive in, we’d love to hear from you. Wandera is a mobile security company that’s going places, and the US is our no.1 market. We need you to help us continue to grow, working with the rest of the marketing team to conjure up plans that accelerate our growth and to work hard on making them happen.

Responsibilities
  • Production of engaging marketing materials, from compelling website copy to punchy email campaigns. You’ll have the chance to flex all kinds of creative writing muscles.
  • Be a key strategic mind in formulating new ideas for inventive ways of reaching our target audience in North America.
  • Be the first point of contact in building relationships with prospects from across a variety of marketing initiatives, such as events we host and content we publish – particularly those working at or with our carrier partners AT&T/Verizon.
  • Represent the company at events across the country, helping to book meetings and pitch the solution to interested attendees.
  • Help put together and execute marketing activities, working with other marketers to pull off world class events, produce insightful blog posts and drive measurable account-based marketing (ABM) campaigns.
We’re looking for:
  • An marketing all-rounder that’s looking for ways to learn lots and gain experience in a variety of different disciplines.
  • Someone with an intelligent mind that enjoys coming up with clever and innovative ways of doing things.
  • An individual that takes the time to understand objectives, and is comfortable with working autonomously to achieve them.
  • A person with bags of natural hustle that isn’t afraid to tackle multiple projects at once.
  • It’s a cliché, but members of the marketing team form a tight unit that rely upon each other. We’d love for you to throw yourself into that culture and be collaborative.
Things we like:
  • Nothing impresses us more than someone who has an idea and just gets on with it. Genuinely. We love it.
  • An aptitude for creativity. Standing out in B2B tech environments requires a blend of both ambition and courage.
  • Risk-taking and an ability to take on things outside your comfort zone is actively encouraged here – mistakes are fine, standing still is not.
  • Fast learners. We don’t expect you to know everything about mobile or security, but if you have the right attitude we’ll help you become an expert in no time.
  • Qualifications are great, but not always essential. Same goes for experience. Tech, start-ups, tel-cos, cybersecurity – you could come from anywhere but it’s on you to show us why your experience is relevant.
  • Bonus points if you have experience navigating marketing software like Marketo and Salesforce, or if you have domain knowledge about mobile, cybersecurity or SaaS.
